Sunny Day in Texas

I just saw my first cactus on the I-20W just along Brack Ranch. We are about 100 miles west of Dallas. It's not exactly mountainous, but these are some big hills. there are all these yellow flowers along the side of the highway. We are driving pass many buildings that are desolate, empty, rundown and dirty. We've reached chapter 21 in Twilight. It's getting exciting. Tonight we'll be in Roswell, NM. We just passed 3,4,5 big red Haliburton trucks. I don't know what kind of equipment they have. Even though we got a ton of sleep last night I'm still wanting to close my eyes. It's pretty, but lonely out here on the road. A little daunting.
There is a house on the top of the hill we just passed. it looks over to the road. I think it would be nice to have a home out here to get away from.
I was so happy ot be in Texas with my family last night. i llove it here to smuch. my family is fun. Jack wasn't there, and I talked to Robert a very little bit. I will see Jenn, Rylee, Aunt Karen and Uncle Mark in two weeks at the beach. We made it in record time. They thoguht we had sped the hole way. the 12 hours I was driving I drove exactly the speed limit. We are driving beside a tank, litterally. It was HUGE. Anyway, last night we arrived at Jenn's around 4pm. Dallas was rainy. We had dinner atthe Keeker's Patio Bar and Grill. Cheap and good. Kristin and I had burgers and whine - 2 glasses. Since Christmas I have been such a light weight. Kristin and I went to sleep as soon as we got back to Jenn's. Breakfast at the Keeerks was delicious and Robert, Ashlee, and the kids weren't there in the morning. Robert was being "domestic" Now we're driving pass cacti, almost mountains and new ghost towns.
